Health & Safety Guidelines
Please read these guidelines before starting the 4-Week Jawline Program.
This Program is for educational and general wellness purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether any part of the Program is appropriate for you, please speak with your healthcare provider before starting.
Do not start the Program if:
- You are pregnant
- You currently have a fever, acute infection, or active inflammatory illness
- You have an open wound, active skin infection, or unhealed injury in an area being worked on
- You are experiencing an acute flare-up of a spinal or joint condition
- You have new or worsening numbness, weakness, or radiating pain
Wait until the condition has resolved or you have been cleared by your healthcare provider.
Talk to your healthcare provider before starting if:
- You have a serious or unstable cardiovascular condition, including uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, serious heart rhythm problems, or an aneurysm
- You have a history of stroke or another serious neurological condition
- You have a current or recent blood clot, thrombosis, or thrombophlebitis
- You have a significant lymphatic disorder
- You have active cancer or are currently receiving cancer treatment
- You have a significant spinal condition or symptomatic disc herniation
- You have osteoporosis or another condition that significantly affects bone strength
- You have severe or painful TMJ dysfunction
- You take blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants)
- You have recently had surgery or a significant injury that could be affected by the exercises
- You have any other serious or unstable medical condition
Your healthcare provider can help you decide whether the Program or specific techniques are appropriate for you.
Facial skin conditions
If you have active rosacea, significant couperose, inflamed acne, an active skin condition, or very sensitive or damaged skin, avoid deep facial massage techniques over the affected area.
Some neck, posture, and other non-facial exercises may still be appropriate, depending on your condition. If you are unsure, check with your dermatologist or healthcare provider before starting.
Botox, fillers, and cosmetic procedures
Do not perform facial massage immediately after Botox, fillers, or another cosmetic procedure.
If you have recently had Botox, fillers, threads, laser or other energy-based treatments, RF or ultrasound procedures, facial, dental, or neck surgery, or any other cosmetic or medical procedure involving the face or neck, follow the aftercare instructions from your injector, dermatologist, surgeon, dentist, or other treating provider.
Wait until they have cleared you for facial massage and exercise before using techniques on the treated area.
During the Program
Always work gently and stay within a comfortable range of motion. Stop the exercise or technique if you experience:
- Sharp or severe pain
- Dizziness or feeling faint
- New numbness or weakness
- Unusual or worsening symptoms
- Any reaction that concerns you
Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or if you are concerned about your health.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for listening to your body, following the instructions provided, and deciding whether an exercise or technique is appropriate for you. If you are unsure, do not perform the technique until you have spoken with a qualified healthcare professional.
